Refund policy

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1. Return Window

We offer 60-day returns for all items. Returns must be initiated within this window. Items returned after this period may not qualify for refunds.

2. Return Conditions

Items must be:

  • Unused and unworn (no signs of usage)
  • In original condition (no damage beyond manufacturing defects)
  • In original packaging with all documentation, tags, and accessories included
  • Clean and undamaged (except for manufacturing defects)

Items showing signs of wear, use, or damage are not eligible for return.

3. Reasons for Return

You may return items for:

  • Defective merchandise (manufacturing flaws, damage, malfunction)
  • Incorrect item (we sent wrong product)
  • Not as described (significant discrepancy between description and item)
  • Changed mind (general dissatisfaction with item)
  • Wrong size (sizing errors when sizing information was available)
  • Fit concerns (items that don't work with your body)

Custom or made-to-order items cannot be returned unless defective.

4. Return Process

Step 1: Contact our customer service team at returns@shaneapparel.com with:

  • Order number
  • Item details
  • Reason for return
  • Photographs of condition (for defect claims)

Step 2: We'll provide return authorization number and shipping instructions.

Step 3: Pack item securely in original packaging with authorization number included.

Step 4: Ship to our return address via your preferred carrier with tracking.

Step 5: We'll inspect returned item and process refund within 5-7 business days.

5. Return Shipping

Free Returns for:

  • Defective items
  • Incorrect items sent by us
  • Items significantly different from description

Customer-Paid Returns for:

  • General dissatisfaction
  • Wrong size (when sizing information was available)
  • Changed mind

Return shipping costs are customer's responsibility unless we're at fault.

6. Refund Processing

  • Refunds are issued to original payment method
  • Refund processing takes 5-7 business days after inspection
  • You may see temporary authorization holds; these will be released within 10 business days
  • Returned items must be received before refund processing begins

7. Partial Refunds

We may issue partial refunds if:

  • Item is damaged due to customer mishandling
  • Item shows signs of wear or usage
  • Accessories or documentation are missing

Partial refund amounts are determined case-by-case based on condition.

8. Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Customized or personalized items
  • Items purchased during final sale events
  • Items obviously damaged by customer misuse
  • Clearance items (when marked as final sale)

9. Defective Item Claims

For defective items:

  • Contact us within 14 days of receipt
  • Provide photographs of the defect
  • Include relevant details (how defect manifested, when discovered)
  • We'll arrange replacement or refund

Manufacturing defects are covered without return shipping costs.

10. Warranty Coverage

Beyond the return window:

  • All Items: Lifetime quality warranty covering manufacturing defects
  • Stitching & Construction: Covered for entire garment lifespan
  • Seams & Hems: Repair services available at-cost beyond warranty

Warranty covers manufacturing defects, not normal wear or misuse.

11. Lost Returns

If your return package is lost in transit:

  • You're responsible for filing claim with shipping carrier
  • Keep tracking information and proof of shipment
  • We'll work with you once carrier resolves claim
  • Insurance is recommended for valuable returns

12. International Returns

International returns may involve:

  • Higher shipping costs
  • Longer processing times
  • Customs documentation requirements
  • We'll provide detailed instructions for international returns

13. Exceptions

We may refuse returns for:

  • Items obviously misused or damaged
  • Items with security tags removed
  • Items clearly not in original condition
  • Items apparently used extensively

Our team makes case-by-case determinations based on condition.
